Oru Naal Koothu Is Nelson’s Take On Indian Weddings

Director Nelson recently revealed that his film Oru Naal Koothu is all about the process of Indian weddings. Talking about the simplicity of the film, Nelson said, “Weddings are considered to be a big thing here. This story revolves around the events that happen from the day of wedding preparations to the day of the wedding. So, the love track is simple in this film”.

Oru Naal Koothu stars Attakathi Dinesh and Mia George as the lead actors. Nelson spoke about the characters and said, “Dinesh, for the first time, plays an urban character (he is a software guy). We were looking for an actor who has a strong boy-next-door image and he fit in perfectly. Miya George plays a rural girl from Dindigul, while Nivetha essays an ultra modern character.

He added, “We have shot the film in and around Chennai and in Dindigul. The film is currently in the post-production stage and we are planning to release by the end of this year”. Nelson also praised Mia George for her dialogue delivery. He stated, “Miya George's performance needs a special mention because she is very good in Tamil and has delivered all her dialogues with ease”.
