Poonam Bajwa Bags Her Next Film

Actress Poonam Bajwa has bagged a new film. Last seen in Sundar C’s ‘Muthina Kathirikkai’, Poonam will now work in GV Prakash’s next film. There are reports that the 27-year-old actress has been roped in to play the female lead in Prakash’s next, titled as ‘Kuppathu Raja’.

Talking to DC, Poonam says, “I have been waiting for good projects to come my way for sometime now. When I heard the narration a few months ago, I really liked the story and my role too. Although I hadn’t met the director prior to the film, I liked the way he narrated the script, and I went with my gut feeling.”

Choreographer Baba Bhaskar is helming the film that will also feature Parthiban in a pivotal role. In the flick, Poonam will be seen playing the role of an Anglo-Indian girl, based in a slum. She says, “Although I cannot reveal much about the role, I can say it’s a sweet, subtle character.”
