Premsai: ‘Tamilselvanum Thaniyar Anjalum’ Not A Remake Of ‘Premium Rush’

Director Premsai is almost done with the filming of his upcoming movie, ‘Tamilselvanum Thaniyar Anjalum’. This action-romantic comedy film is set to hit the theatres on September 16. There has been a buzz that Premsai’s forthcoming cinematic is the remake of an English film, titled ‘Premium Rush’.

Reacting on this allegation, Premsai told IANS, “I registered my script in 2011. ‘Premium Rush’ released towards the end of 2012 and by then, we had completed about 60 percent of the shooting. Apart from the fact that the protagonists in both the films are a messenger, which is pure coincidence, nothing else is similar.”

‘Tamilselvanum Thaniyar Anjalum’ stars Jai and Yami Gautam in the lead roles. Premsai has an experience of over a decade as a television actor. He went behind the camera just to satisfy his creative desire. In fact, he has assisted Prabhudeva in ‘Shankar Dada Zindabad’.
