Ritu Varma To Star In ‘VIP 2’

Telugu actress Ritu Varma gained popularity after ‘Pelli Choopulu’. The movie not only impressed the locals but was also appreciated all over the world. Her mind-blowing performance in the movie stunned Gautham Menon, who decided to sign the actress in the lead role in his movie ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’. The flick has Vikram and Aishwarya Rajesh as the main cast.

While everyone was thinking that ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ would be the actress’ debut movie, however, she shocked everyone when she was spotted in the trailer of ‘VIP 2’, a sequel to the super-hit flick ‘Velai Illa Pattadhari’, starring Dhanush and Amala Paul in the leads. The makers decided to keep the role of the actress under wraps. By looking at the trailer, it seems that Ritu will be playing an extended cameo in the flick directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth.

A source reveals that Ritu will be playing the similar role that was played by Surabhi in the first part. Her character would help Dhanush choose his dream job. Apart from Ritu and Dhanush, ‘VIP 2’ will also feature Kajol, Amala Paul and Samuthirakani. The film will be made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi and will simultaneously release in the three languages on July 28, 2017.
