Silambarasan Headed Out Of The Danger Zone

The Beep Song case that was causing jeopardy for superstar Silambarasan seems to be dying down, clearing the way for the actor. A second member from a prominent political party that issued the court case against Simbu has withdrawn the case. The reason given was that the member of the party only filed the case following the instructions of the people higher up in the party.

Another withdrawal took place earlier this week from the same political party. The secretary of another political party that had filled the case against the actor has also taken it back stating the same reason as the previous two. The actor is expected to attend the Court hearing on January 4 next year.

The case was filed because of the ‘Beep Song’ that was written and sung by Simbu himself. The activists were unhappy with the theme of the song as they felt that the lyrics were derogatory towards women. The fans of the superstar took a stand and defended him, saying that the song does not offend women in any way.
