So much to learn from Vijay 58: Sridevi

Chimbu Deven’s Vijay 58 which is touted to be a fantasy film went on floors amidst much hype almost a week ago. The film is all set to feature Vijay in dual roles alongside a star-heavy ensemble cast including Shruti Haasan, Sridevi, Hansika Motwani and Sudeep. Latest reports confirm that yesteryear actress has already joined the cast and crew and is thrilled to be a part of the film.

"I've never played a character like this is my career. I was thrilled to listen to director Chimbhu Devan narrate the story. I've just finished shooting for a song with Vijay, Hansika and Sudeep. The film will have many never seen before elements. I will talk more about the film closer to the release," said Sridevi.

The actress also took to the micro-blogging site to share her experience. In her official Twitter page, she wrote, "In Chennai shooting for a new Tamil film. Brings back so many memories of first day of shoot as a child actor. Thank you Chennai for all the love and warmth. It feels great to be back. Working with today’s generation of actors and technicians, who are totally professional & focused, is an inspiration for me. So much to learn from them."

Veteran actress Sridevi was approached by many filmmakers of the industry but the diva always refused politely, but surprisingly she seems very excited to be the part this project.
