Yamini Is All Thrilled For 'Papparapaam'

IT professional turned actress Yamini is all set to make her debut in the film industry with ‘Papparapaam’, which will be helmed by debutant Sasikumaran. The comedy-drama features Vinoth Kishan, Ishaara Nair, John Vijay and Mime Gopi in the lead roles. Recently, the Coimbatore-based actress talked about how she grabbed a role in the flick.

"I had always wanted to be part of the film industry and I had had a few modelling stints to my credit”, shared Yamini, adding, “The Papparapaam team had seen my pictures and they approached me for the role. I had a screen test and I was on board soon after. Since this is my first feature film; I am really excited about it and looking forward to the release”.

Though, the actress chose not to reveal much about her role, she shared that her role is crucial to the plot. “I do not think any actress has done a role of this kind before. It was fun being part of the film and everything just fell into place once I was on the set”, stated Yamini, who also added that she has been getting some good offers but she is waiting for the right script and team for her next outing.

The movie is expected to release in a couple of months.
