Mahesh Babu's Next To Release In April 2017

It was lately reported that the veteran Tollywood actor, Mahesh Babu, will be seen as a cop in his upcoming film. After blockbuster films like 'Pokiri' and 'Dookudu', superstar Mahesh Babu is keen to play the role of a cop in this new project. Reportedly, the film has already commenced the shoot in Chennai and will be released in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously in April 2017.

This exciting project is being helmed by A. R. Murugadoss, whose last outing was 'Akira'. A source informed, "Now that his film Akira has released, Murugadoss is completely focussing on this one. Mahesh Babu is playing the role of an intelligence officer (IB specialist) in the film."

Reportedly, the beautiful actress, Rakul Preet Singh, has been roped in to play the female lead in this forthcoming flick. N. V. Prasad and Tagore Madhu are bankrolling this high-budget film which is in a way Mahesh Babu's debut in Tamil as they are planning to release it in Tamil, with Mahesh's dubbing his own voice over.
