Shahid Kapoor To Romance Pooja Hedge In SS Rajamouli’s Film?

S. S. Rajamouli is an ace-director. Some of his epic works include ‘Baahubali’, ‘Magadheera’, ‘Sye’ and more. As per the recent reports, one of his super hit movies is soon to be made in Hindi. The Hindi remake of his 2009 film ‘Magadheera’ is on the cards.

The original version of the film starred Ram Charan and Kajal Aggarwal as leads, while Dev Gill and Srihari appeared in prominent roles. Reportedly, for the remake, Bollywood’s terrific actor Shahid Kapoor is being considered to play the male lead. However, Pooja Hegde is touted to play the lead lady. According to a report by Spotboye, “Hegde, of ‘Mohenjo Daro’ (2016) fame, has been signed on to essay the role of a princess, which was essayed by Kajal Aggarwal in the original film.”

Although no official announcement has been made, but the news is undoubtedly amusing. If the buzz is to be believed, it will mark the Hegde’s second Bollywood film and Shahid’s first film post becoming a father. Telugu version of ‘Magadheera’ was commercially a hit at the box-office. The film was dubbed into Tamil as ‘Maaveeran’ and Malayalam as ‘Dheera: The Warrior’. Now, it’s the turn of B-town fans to cherish this romantic-action film.
