Shreyan: ‘I Never Wanted To Be an Actor’

Jayasudha's son Shreyan is all set to make his debut in an upcoming Telugu film Basthi. Just a few days before the release of the film, Shreyan confessed that he never wanted to be an actor. The film also stars Pragati Chourasiya and is all set to hit the theatres on July 3.

Shreyan said, “I never wanted to be an actor. I didn't even went to the shoots of any of my mother's films. I was a national level shooter and I used in the top 5. But I was bitten by acting bug three years back”.

Talking of how he landed into films, he said, “I've been keeping in touch with producers like Lagadapati Sridhar since then. I heard many stories, but I didn't find anything interesting. When Vasu Manthena story narrated the story of 'Basthi', I was floored. It is a simple story with good emotions. I am very happy with the output of the film”.
