Alia Bhatt is all set to executively produce the crime thriller series Poacher which will be streaming on the OTT platform, Amazon Prime Video. The actress shared a riveting video that informs us about the main crux of the story. The series gives an important message about how murder is murder, be it of a human being or an animal.

Talking about the same, Alia can be seen walking inside a forest wherein a police investigation is going on. We can see a dark, grim, and macabre atmosphere where Alia soon starts narrating how 10-year-old Ashok was brutally murdered and mutilated. She looks morose as she continues how poor Ashok did not even see the faces of his killers. Then she adds how this crime does not become small since Ashok was not one of us because murder is murder. We see a blood-stained silhouette of a baby elephant revealing that Ashok was an animal. Take a look at the video.

One of the fans wrote, “Someone had to raise this voice!!! Alia Bhatt you star girl, you always bring out the side we least talk about and that's what makes it so special!!! Can't wait for this one.” Another netizen said, “this looks amazing.” While a user said, “Will never not be Proud of staning this queen.” A netizen added, “Always giving you respect and never regret staning this Queen.”

Poacher will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video on February 23, 2024. It stars Nimisha Sajayan, Roshan Mathew, and Dibyendu Bhattacharya in the lead roles. It is based on true events and uncovers the largest ivory poaching ring in India. The synopsis of Poacher reads, ‘Home to elephants and countless other animals, the forest was always meant to be a safe haven for them, until the arrival of poachers. Intruding, encroaching, and killing mercilessly, poachers have forced many animals onto the list of endangered species.’
