The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 is nearing its business end, and soon enough, the overseas players will return to their respective countries for the upcoming ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024. With preparations underway, Punjab Kings (PBKS) co-owner Preity Zinta has been one busy bee, whether cheering at the stadium for her side or replying to questions on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Taking to social media, Preity Zinta had a fun Q and A with fans as she wrote, "Finally, some time off after a while. Happy to do a quick #pzchat as requested by you guys. Bring it on, folks." One fan took the opportunity and wrote, "Say something about Virat Kohli Sir."

Replying to this question, the Bollywood actor said, "I love his on-field aggression and his will to win! I also love the way he values family & his dance moves. I used to see a lot of his dance moves when he first came to the IPL."

Earlier, Preity Zinta had to come online and even post about how the news regarding her desire for Rohit Sharma to become PBKS skipper was fake. "#Fakenews! All these articles are completely fake & baseless. I hold Rohit Sharma in very high regard & am a big fan of his, but I have NEVER DISCUSSED him in any interview nor made this STATEMENT! I also have a lot of respect for Shikhar Dhawan & his current injury makes these articles appear in very poor taste," wrote Zinta.

"These articles are a perfect example of how misinformation is picked up without any verification & circulated online. I humbly request all Media to refrain from circulating this & embarrassing all concerned parties. All I want to say is that we have a great team currently & our only focus is to win games & make the most out of #IPL2024. Thank you. @PunjabKingsIPL," Zinta added.

As for her team in the IPL points table, PBKS is sitting in the 8th spot after they lost to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on May 5. As for Kohli, his Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) team moved to the 7th spot from the 10th after winning three consecutive games following a series of losses.
