Gwen Stefani is thrilled about reuniting with her No Doubt bandmates for Coachella, but she confessed that she has some catching up to do before their performance in Indio, California, this April. In a recent interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the singer shared her excitement about getting back together with Tom Dumont, Tony Kanal, and Adrian Young after nearly ten years apart.

    Prepping for the Stage

Though the music festival doesn’t kick off for a few months, Stefani admitted that the group hasn’t started rehearsing for their performance. But she’s already aware that she’s going to have to relearn some of the rock band’s older hits.

"I don’t remember them, no, not at all. I don’t! I think I’m going to have to learn probably like, eight or nine [songs]," she said, before accidentally revealing one of the tracks they’re going to perform. "One of the first songs I ever wrote was called ‘Different People,’ we’re doing that."

As the audience erupted with excitement, Stefani hastily covered her mouth in shock, exclaiming, “I’m not supposed…” She then attempted to backtrack, suggesting they might include that one.The track “Different People” was part of the band’s third album, 1995’s Tragic Kingdom. No Doubt's previous reunion was in 2012 for their album Push and Shove, and their last live performance together was in 2015.

The group, alongside Lana Del Rey, Tyler, the Creator, and Doja Cat, headline this year's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, which runs from Friday, April 12, 2024, to Sunday, April 21, 2024.
