'A blessing granted': Swara Bhasker announces the birth of her baby girl Raabiyaa with cute pictures

Swara Bhaskar on Monday broke the news on social media that she is blessed with a baby girl with her husband Fahad Ahmad. The actress posted a bunch of photos of herself with the little one and penned a heartfelt note. She informed fans that her daughter, whom she named Raabiyaa was born on September 23, 2023.

In the first picture, Swara can be seen holding the baby and Fahad could be seen smiling at them. The second photo is from the hospital wherein the new mom is looking at her child. The third photo features Swara sleeping with the baby on her stomach, while Fahad holds the baby in the last photo. Take a look at her post here:

As soon as her post surfaced, actress Neena Gupta reacted, “Congratulations”.Anaita Shroff wrote, “All the best you 3!”. “Mubarak !!! swara and fahad” wrote Mini Mathur. Tisca Chopra commented, “Congratulations darling Swara and Fahad.” “Allahumma baarik laha . Many congratulations ❤️ . May the almighty protect ur baby n bless her with all the goodness life has to offer . Ameen,”wrote Gauahar Khan. On the other hand, fans also showered blessings on the newborn and new parents.

Earlier, Swara shared a glimpse into her surprise baby shower which comprised cute balloons, a special cake and lots of selfies with friends and family."I love surprises! Last week, one of my oldest friends @samar_narayen and the amazing @laks7 and Fahad gave me the sweetest surprise in the form a baby shower that they managed to plan and execute without me getting even a whiff of it! I was sooooo clueless I arrived in pajamas! Ok not quite... but I didn’t catch on till I caught @kaushikmoitra and @priyatnabasu arriving outside and then too I was merely confused! Thank you so much guys! Samar and Lakshita for so thoughtfully thinking of this sweet plan and executing it, @fahadzirarahmad for keeping the secret," she wrote alongside the video.

Meanwhile, Swara got married to Fahad in a court marriage in February this year. She announced her pregnancy in June with mushy photos of herself and Fahad caressing her baby bump.
