That Aamir Khan is going through a tough time is known to all. His ambitious Hindi adaptation of Forrest Gump, Laal Singh Chaddha has turned out to be a box office flop which has reportedly hit him hard. Recently his Taare Zameen Par co-star Darsheel Safary spoke about asking for work from him which only made netizens troll the superstar harder. Darsheel had spoken in a recent interview about how he is looking forward to making a comeback in films but that he feels shy asking Aamir for work.

Following Darsheel Safary’s interview with Hindustan Times, fans soon started brutally trolling Aamir Khan. They started taking digs at the megastar’s recent films flopping at the box office. They also suggested Darsheel try his luck in the South film industry citing ‘Bollywood is over.’

One netizen stated, “Amir khan ko khud kaam dekhna padega” while another user said, “You better don't ask him, he himself is a flop artist now. You'll do lot better without him.” A netizen went on to say, “Because he is also out of work these days.” A user further went on to say, “Bollywood itself is now in crisis....better try to work in the south.” Another netizen wrote, “Le Amir Khan - beta meri to khud film flop ho raha hai tereko mai kya help karu.” Lastly a user stated, “Itne saalon me bhot kuch badal gya re pagle.... Amir mamu k liye tm kaam dhundho ab.”

In the interview, talking about being hesitant in asking for work from his first co-star Aamir Khan, Darsheel Safary said, “I would feel shy (to ask him for work). I always feel like you should earn what you are working for. I feel those are like shortcuts. Not that I want to take a long cut but a learning cut. I think I don’t need to force.” Talking about Taare Zameen Par, the 2007 film was helmed by Aamir and Amol Gupte and is still considered one of the best movies in the Hindi film industry.
