    Laal Singh Chaddha is the Hindi remake of Tom Hanks starrer Forrest Gump. Directed by Advait Chandan, the film stars Aamir as Laal, and Kareena as Rupa. The film is slated to hit theatres on August 11.

    Days before Laal Singh Chaddha ’s release, Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan are asking people to give their movie a fair chance. Since #BoycottLaalSinghChaddha started trending on Twitter in reaction to Aamir’s 2015 interview wherein the actor’s wife suggested moving out of India citing growing intolerance in the country. Recently, Aamir urged fans to watch his films and also clarified that it's untrue that he doesn’t like India.

    The Thugs of Hindostan actor said that he feels sad after hearing about ‘Boycott Bollywood... Boycott Aamir Khan... Boycott Laal Singh Chaddha trend’. He said it's untrue that he doesn't like India also it hurts him because a lot of people who are saying this are believing from the heart. He also added that he really loves the country. And it is rather unfortunate if some people feel that way, he told PTI. Further, he assured his fans and audience that it's not the case so please don't boycott my films, please watch my films.

    On the other hand, Kareena reacted to boycott her film saying that everyone can have an opinion these days. The actress has a strong belief that the film will surpass anything and the response will be good. Further, she added that opinion is going to be there and one has to learn to ignore certain things. “Otherwise, it will just become impossible to live your life. And that's why I don't take any of this like seriously,” she added.

    Talking about Laal Singh Chaddha, the upcoming film is the Hindi remake of Tom Hanks starrer Forrest Gump. Directed by Advait Chandan, the film stars Aamir as Laal, and Kareena as Rupa. It also stars Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya in pivotal roles. Backed by Aamir Khan Production and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, the film is set to release on August 11.
