The incredibly versatile Rani Mukerji made her comeback on the silver screen this year, after two long years, with Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway. In the legal drama, which is being called a heart wrenching story by many, the actress portrays the role of a mother whose children have been taken away by Norwegian Child Welfare Services. Just last week, actress Anushka Sharma watched the film and lauded Rani’s performance in a social media post. Anushka, who is the mother of a two year old daughter, shared that one would want to hold their children tighter after watching this film.

After Anushka, another actress and young mother has now reviewed Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway. We are talking about Alia Bhatt , who watched the film last night with her mother Soni Razdan and sister Shaheen Bhatt. The actress shared, “Saturday night was spent in tears with my mom and sister as we watched our favourite - the brilliant Rani Mukherjee. Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway is such an important story to tell. For me, especially as a new mother, it hit so much harder and so much closer to home. Rani ma'am - there's no one like you! You had me transfixed and I was transported right by your side from Norway to India!”

Alia and her husband Ranbir Kapoor, who tied the nuptial knot after dating for 5 long years, were blessed with a daughter in 2022. They named their little angel Raha Kapoor . In her post, mommy Alia went on to add, “Congratulations to the full team for this incredible film. (P.S - I am convinced there's nothing my fav @jimsarbhforreal can't do - an absolute chameleon).” Well, these reviews will surely make you want to watch Rani’s film if you haven’t yet. Also starring Anirban Bhattacharya, Jim Sarbh and the evergreen Neena Gupta, Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway is inspired by a real life story of a couple whose children were taken away in 2011.
