After Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif & Vicky Kaushal receive death threat; case registered by Mumbai Police
In terms of work, Katrina has resumed the shooting of Sriram Raghavan’s Merry Christmas. On the other hand, Vicky recently shot a song for Anand Tiwari’s untitled romantic film with Tripti Dimri.
B-town couple Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal received death threats from an unidentified person on social media. Reportedly, Mumbai police have registered the case against the man at the Santacruz Police Station. It is not yet known what the threat to their lives said, however, Katrina and Vicky have not commented on the matter in the public domain as yet.
According to ANI, Vicky lodged a complaint at the police station against a person who has been threatening and posting threat messages on Instagram. He also stated that the accused has also been stalking his wife Katrina and threatening her. The case has been registered under section 506(2),354(D) IPC r/w sec 67 IT Act.
Vicky and Katrina recently returned from the Maldives after celebrating Katrina’s birthday. They had been sharing a bunch of pictures from the holiday. The couple tied the knot on December 9, last year. Well, being a celebrity receiving death threats and ransom calls is not uncommon for stars. Earlier, superstar Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan got threats in the form of a letter. The letter said that the father-son duo will meet the same fate as Punjabi singer Sidhu MooseWala who was murdered in May.
According to reports, the Bishnoi gang wanted to extort money from the superstar. In the latest development, Salman recently met Mumbai police commissioner Vivek Phansalkar. It is being said that the actor has applied for a weapon license amid the death threats. Besides Salman, Swara Bhasker also received threats for her life, following which Mumbai Police launched a probe into the matter.
