Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan mark 16 years of togetherness with a loved-up post, get trolled for this reason

Bollywood couple Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan completed 16 years of marriage on Thursday. The couple tied the knot in a grand wedding ceremony on April 20, 2007, at Bachchan's residence, Prateeksha, in Mumbai. The duo twinned in white and celebrated their ‘sweet 16th’ with a lovely selfie post on Instagram. However, the netizens trolled them as their picture seemed to be clicked before or after coming from Pamela Chopra’s funeral.

Aishwarya took to her Instagram and shared a selfie with her husband Abhishek wherein they are flashing wide smiles. She wrote, “Sweet 16," followed by heart emoticons. On the other hand, Abhishek shared the same photo and captioned it as, “16" with an evil eye emoticon. Soon after, Riteish Deshmukh commented, “Happy Anniversary Vahini aani Bhau.” Fans also flooded the comment section with warm wishes.

Last night, Aishwarya and Abhishek along with the megastar Amitabh Bachchan visited Aditya Chopra’s residence to pay their last respect to his mother Pamela, who passed away at 74. The duo seemed to wear the same clothes as in their anniversary selfie. Reacting to this, one user trolled them saying, “The pic is before going to the funeral of Pamela Chopra or after coming from that. Whatever it is I don’t think you should upload a such happy pic on social media. What you want to show you are happy.” Another commented, “Taking so-called Sweet Anniversary photo with funeral clothes on, on the day of death of Mrs Chopra. How concerned of her death, lol.”

Meanwhile, workwise, Aishwarya will be next seen in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyen Selvan 2, co-starring Vikram, Trisha, Jayam Ravi and Karthi. On the other hand, Abhishek Bachchan was recently seen in a special appearance in Ajay Devgn’s Bholaa. He will next be seen in R Balki’s Ghoomer alongside Saiyami Kher and Shabana Azmi.
