Akshay Kumar admires Prithviraj co-star Manushi Chhillar's 'utmost poise and dignity' as she waited long for her debut film

Superstar Akshay Kumar sent out a heartwarming birthday wish to his Prithviraj co-star and former Miss World Manushi Chhillar as she turns a year older today.

Taking to his Instagram stories, the Sooryavanshi actor penned a sweet caption to a picture that features himself with the gorgeous actress. He wrote, "I know the wait for your debut has been a long one, but you managed it just like a Princess with utmost poise and dignity. Now it’s almost time…Happy birthday @manushi_chhillar, wishing you all the happiness in life." In response, Manushi called him ‘the best' and added two red heart emoticons for him.

Prithiviraj is an upcoming period drama about the heroism of the fearless King Prithviraj Chauhan as he faces off against merciless invader Muhammad of Ghor. Akshay plays the titular role while Manushi portrays Princess Sanyogita, the love-interest of Prithviraj in the film. Directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Chaturvedi and produced by Yash Raj banner, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood in pivotal roles. The film will be released in theatres on June 3, 2022.

With Prithviraj, Manushi is making her acting debut in Bollywood. She made the country proud when she won the Miss World beauty pageant in 2017. Today, the actress turned 25 and received warm birthday wishes from her friends and family on social media.

Actress Anushka Sharma also wished her by posting a beautiful picture of Manushi on her Instagram story with a caption, “Happy Birthday Manushi, wishing you love and light always.” Even Runway 34 actress Rakul Preet Singh extended the birthday greeting and wrote, “Happy birthday you stunner, Sending you lots of love and light. All the best for Prithviraj” and added heart emojis.

Coming back to Akshay Kumar, the actor has a full-packed 2022 with interesting projects. Besides Prithviraj, he has Ram Setu with Nushrratt Bharruchha and Jacqueline Fernandez. He also has Selfiee with Emraan Hashmi, Nushrratt, and Diana Penty. He has many more projects in the pipeline.
