Ibrahim Ali Khan bags his second film even before the release of his debut flick, here's what we know

Ibrahim Ali Khan will soon be making his Bollywood debut with the Dharma Productions film, Sarzameen. However, the latest development suggests that the star kid has already bagged his second film even before his debut flick hits the theatres. For the unversed, Ibrahim has also assisted Karan Johar in the movie Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.

Talking about the same, according to a news report in Pinkvilla, Ibrahim Ali Khan has bagged his second project which is touted to be a romantic flick titled Diler. The movie will be produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films. The film will be directed by Kunal Deshmukh of Jannat fame. A source close to the development said, “Ibrahim Ali Khan loved the script and immediately gave his nod. It’s a very balanced, well-written love story that promises to take audiences on a ride filled with love and music. The conversation with Ibrahim has reached a final stage, and he will soon be signing on the dotted line. Ibrahim’s jump from thriller to romance also showcases his versatility as an upcoming performer.” However, the makers are still on the hunt for a female lead opposite Ibrahim.

The film will reportedly go on floors in December 2023. Ibrahim Ali Khan will focus on wrapping up Sarzameen before he starts working on Diler. Talking about Sarzameen, the movie will be directed by Boman Irani’s son Kayoze Irani. The film also stars South star Prithviraj Sukumaran and Kajol in the lead roles. It is touted to be a patriotic-actioner flick. While Prithviraj and Kajol will play a married couple, Ibrahim will be essaying the role of a terrorist.

Well, this must have left all the fans of Ibrahim Ali Khan super excited. He is one of the most popular star kids on the block whose debut has been much awaited by now. It will be interesting to see whether he manages to achieve the same foothold in the industry as his elder sister Sara Ali Khan.
