    Akshay Kumar and Malayalam superstar Mohanlal recently attended a wedding ceremony and got into an impromptu bhangra dance. The two legends donned their traditional best outfits for the ceremony and performed a bhangra step with their one leg entangled to each other. While Akshay wore a printed white kurta-pajama, Mohanlal sported a blue sherwani and a white turban. “I’ll forever remember this dance with you @mohanlal Sir. Absolutely memorable moment,” the Ram Setu actor captioned the video on Instagram.

    Soon after the video surfaced, netizens were surprised to see the two legends in one frame. One user wrote, “Akki Paaji is so energetic that everyone starts to dance with him.” Another user asked, “Kis ki shaadi Siddharth Malhotra ka hai kya.” “Khiladi x Lalletan,” read one of the comments.     Earlier, during the promotions of Raksha Bandhan, Akshay had expressed his wish to work in Malayalam films alongside Mohanlal. He had said that working in Malayalam would be great, adding that will have a chat with filmmaker Priyadarshan, about doing a film with the superstar. “It would be my privilege to work in Malayalam. I should talk to Priyadarshan about it, and ask him if he can cast me with Mohanlal. It would be an honour to do that,” he had said.

    Meanwhile, Akshay was last seen in Ram Setu alongside Nushrratt Bharuccha and Jacqueline Fernandez. He is currently geared up for the release of Selfiee , which also stars Emraan Hashmi, Nushrratt Bharuccha, and Diana Penty in pivotal roles. On the other hand, Mohanlal’s Spadikam was re-released on February 9, 2023, with a digitally remastered 4K Dolby Atmos version.
