Alia Bhatt recently attended the Red Sea International Film Festival and joined the high-profile names–Halle Berry, Andrew Garfield, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Nic Cage, to the prestigious In-Conversation sidebar at KSA. From Heart Of Stone's experience to her upcoming film Jigra, the actress opened up about the buzz surrounding her professional life. She also reacted to her viral deepfake video and speculations regarding her headlining Yash Raj Film’s Spy Universe film.

Alia feels Artificial Intelligence has pros and cons, and hopes that laws will come into place to protect people. “There’s a lot to say. I do feel like where there’s good there can also be bad. As humans, our instinct is always to survive, so no matter the problem, we’ll survive and find a way to work around it. AI could open things up for some professions, and it could be harmful to others. That’s what I feel. But as we understand it better, I’m sure laws will come into place to protect people,” she told Deadline. In November, Alia fell prey to an AI hoax via deepfake wherein her face was morphed into another model in an obscene video.

During the interaction, Alia was asked about her upcoming collaboration with the YRF team for a spy film. She refused to divulge details about the same and said, “I’m gonna give you my coy smile, and we’ll have to talk about that another time. That’s my answer to this one. However, what I can say is I’m very excited about what I get to film next year.”

Meanwhile, Alia made her Hollywood debut with Heart Of Stone alongside Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan. Up next, she will be seen in her second production venture, Jigra, directed by Vasan Bala. She said the film require her doing too many action sequences. “It has a lot of action, so I’m hoping it can hit the screens next year,” she added. Alia was last seen in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani with Ranveer Singh.
