    As Raazi clocked four years of release, actor Alia Bhatt shared behind-the-scenes moments from her journey as Sehmat to mark the milestone. The spy thriller was released in 2018 and had crossed the 100-crore mark at the box office.

    Directed by Meghna Gulzar , Raazi is based on the book Calling Sehmat. Alia played the role of a real-life undercover spy Sehmat, who helped India win the 1971 war against Pakistan. The film also featured Vicky Kaushal as Sehmat’s husband and Pakistani army officer Iqbal Syed.

    A wave of nostalgia swept over Alia as her movie completed four years. She took to her Instagram stories and posted a series of unseen pictures with her cast and crew including co-star Vicky Kaushal, director Meghna Gulzar, and Soni Razdan. Take a look:

    In Raazi, Alia impressed both audience and critics alike with her remarkable performance. With the movie, she tasted tremendous success and also an overpowering response at the box office. Talking about the success of the film, Alia had earlier said that she felt a sense of validation and gratitude. “But with success, comes responsibility too. With this, I feel I need to be more responsible in my choices henceforth,” she had added.

    And indeed, Alia has come a long way with her great choices thereafter. From playing a girl next door in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania to a mafia queen in Gangubai Kathiawadi, the actress has carved a niche for herself and emerged as one of the best actors in the film industry presently.

    Last month, the actress tied the knot with her beau Ranbir Kapoor in an intimate yet grand ceremony in Mumbai. On the work front, she will next be seen in Karan Johar ’s upcoming directorial Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani alongside Ranveer Singh . She is also awaiting the release of Ayan Mukherji’s Brahmastra co-starring her husband Ranbir Kapoor. The film is set to release on September 9.
