    Filmmaker SS Rajamouli is overwhelmed with the response of RRR on the global platform. After celebrating victory at Golden Globe Award, his movie won big at the Critics’ Choice Award. The film bagged trophies for Best Language Film and Best Song for Naatu Naatu. What excited him more was learning about Avatar director James Cameron admiring RRR. The filmmaker also got ten minutes of interaction with the Hollywood filmmaker to analyze his movie. Alia Bhatt , who has an extended cameo in the movie, is overjoyed to know about the development.

    Taking to Twitter, Rajamouli wrote, “The great James Cameron watched RRR.. He liked it so much that he recommended to his wife Suzy and watched it again with her. Sir I still cannot believe you spent a whole 10 minutes with us analyzing our movie. As you said I AM ON TOP OF THE WORLD… Thank you both.” Alia shared the screenshot of Rajamouli’s tweet on her Instagram stories and wrote, “Icons only” In another post, she shared the tweet of an American journalist who reported that James admires RRR, and captioned, “Ufff, what a beautiful morning…” Take a look:

    At the time of RRR's win at the Golden Globe Awards, Alia re-shared a clip of the moment the award was announced and the entire RRR table can be seen erupting in cheers. Alongside she wrote, "Naatu Naatu RRR" and dropped multiple heart-shaped emoticons. However, she also became the target of trolls after a section of media called RRR an Alia Bhatt film when the movie bagged the prestigious award. The netizens troll the actress as she was only seen in a couple of scenes in the multilingual flick. Many mocked her saying she had lesser screen space than the tiger, killed by Komaram Bheem played by Junior NTR, in the film.

    Meanwhile, RRR starred Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles, while Ajay Devgn, Alia, and Shriya Saran featured in supporting roles. The film was a fictional story based on the lives of two Telugu freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem, and was released in March last year. The film has also been shortlisted for nomination for Best Original Song at Oscar 2023.
