Alia Bhatt left unimpressed by Varun Dhawan's choice of birthday post for her, here's why

Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan have known each other since childhood and grew up to be the best of friends. The two made their Bollywood debut together with Karan Johar’s Student Of the Year. Since then they have done several movies together winning Varia fans’ hearts with their crackling chemistry in movies like Badrinath Ki Dulhania, and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania among others. Hence, it would be unfair for Varia fans if Varun didn’t drop a birthday post for Alia who turned the year older on March 15.

Taking to his Instagram stories, Varun shared a throwback picture of himself with Alia from the time of their movie Kalank promotions. In the picture, Alia could be seen wearing a saree with a mangtikka put on her forehead. And Varun wore a black suit and is seen half sitting with Alia while a kid sang a song. Sharing the picture, Varun wrote, “Happy bday had to wish u on a public forum since a lot of people were feeling offend @aliabhatt also your 30(balloon emoji)” However, Alia was not quite happy with the choice of her photograph in the picture. She replied, “hahaha why didn’t you choose a better picture of me but?” Take a look:

Alia recently flew to London with her husband Ranbir and daughter Raha much ahead of her birthday yesterday. A photo surfaced on the internet which showed Alia making a wish before cutting her cake on her birthday. On her special day, the actress received a lot of wishes from not only her family and friends but celebrities including Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma, Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, and Shahid Kapoor among others. Workwise, she recently wrapped up her upcoming movie, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Directed by Karan Johar, the film stars Ranveer Singh as the male lead. Veteran actors Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachchan are also part of the cast.

On other hand, Varun Dhawan was last seen in Bhediya alongside Kriti Sanon. He will next be seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s Bawaal in which he will be sharing screen space with Janhvi Kapoor for the first time.
