Amal Neerad’s film titled Bougainvillea, here’s the latest poster from Kunchacko Boban-Fahadh Faasil's film

After teasing fans with intriguing posters of the cast members of his upcoming film, director Amal Neerad has finally unveiled the title of his upcoming action thriller. The director took to his social media handles to share the film's title - Bougainvillea.

Headlined by Kunchacko Boban and Fahadh Faasil, the new title poster features the leading stars along with supporting cast members including Sharaf U Dheen, Jyothirmayi, Veena Nandakumar, and Srinda. Interestingly, the new poster also showcases a black dog chasing a wild pig, indicating a story will be as dark as the posters! 

Bougainvillea commonly refers to the climbing flowers found in India. While the flower symbolizes protection and spiritual connection, we are intrigued to see what director Amal Neerad has in store for fans! 

Cinephiles, who have been eagerly awaiting the director’s next project ever since his 2022 outing Bheeshma Parvam, are thrilled about this exciting collaboration between two of the most versatile actors in Malayalam cinema.

Kunchacko Boban-Fahadh Faasil in Amal Neerad’s new film

Directed by celebrated director Amal Neerad, Bougainvillea reunites the Take Off co-stars for an intense and gripping thriller. Recently, the filmmakers unveiled intense posters of all the characters, who exuded dark looks in classic Amal Neerad style. Although the makers are tight-lipped about the narrative behind the upcoming film, many speculate that the film might feature Kunchacko Boban in a role with negative shades, focusing on a story of the oppressed and oppressors. Fahadh is said to be playing a special appearance role in the film.

Interestingly, the makers are also eyeing an Onam 2024 release. If the rumours are true, fans can expect to witness the ensemble star cast collaborating for something massive. On the technical front, the film has Sushin Shyam composing the music, and it is bankrolled by the director’s home banner, Amal Neerad Productions LLP, and Udaya Pictures.
