Amitabh Bachchan has savage reply to trolls saying he consumes alcohol at night: "I do not drink, make others drink Madhushala"

    Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan is quite active on social media and keeps fans updated with his personal and professional life. On Sunday, the actor sent a good morning wish to his fans on Facebook but found himself trolled for waking up so late.

    While a section of social media users replied with sweet wishes to his post, some of them criticized him for sending a good morning wish in the afternoon. However, the witty actor handled them with utmost dignity. One of the users wrote in Hindi, “Seems to have started drinking desi alcohol as you woke up so late,” To which, the Paa actor responded with a reference to his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan's famous poem and wrote, “I do not drink, make others drink Madhushala."

    While another user called him ‘Buddha’(old man) writing in Hindi, “Abey Buddhe dopahar ho gaye (It’s afternoon you old man).” The calm Bachchan gave a befitting reply, “I pray to god that nobody insults you when you grow old,” he wrote. “Don't you think you have wished a good morning very early?" added another, to which the actor replied, "I am grateful for the taunt. But I was working late night, shooting wrapped up this morning. I got late in waking up, so sent wishes as soon as I did. If it hurt you then I apologise."

    This is not the first time, BigB has always impressed us with his savage responses to trolls. Recently, when trolls questioned why he went all out to promote his son Abhishek Bachchan ’s film Dasvi. He hit back at them with a tweet that reads, "Ji haan huzoor main karta hu: badhai, prachar, mangalachar. Kya kar loge? (Yes sir, I do share congratulations, promotions, invocations!!! What will you do)? (sic)."

    On the work front, Amitabh was last seen in Ajay Devgn ’s film Runway 34. His upcoming projects include Ayan Mukerji ’s Brahmastra , Sooraj Barjatya ’s Unnchai, and the remake of the Hollywood flick ‘ The Intern ’ alongside Deepika Padukone .
