Amitabh Bachchan pleads fans to go watch his film Uunchai, says 'nobody is going to the theatres'

However, recently Big B rather desperately urged his fans to go watch his film in the theatres and stated the pitiful box office results of the majority of the film released in the theatres.
Talking about the same, Amitabh Bachchan recently welcomed his Uunchai co-stars Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, and Neena Gupta on his hit show, Kaun Banega Crorepati 14. During the same, he pleaded with the audience to go to the theatres to watch their film. Telling in Hindi, the Amar Akbar Anthony actor was quoted to say, “There is a different joy in going to the theatre and watching a movie after buying a ticket. The situation is very tough these days, no one is going to the theatre. I join my hands and request you to buy tickets and watch our movie in theatres.”
Not only this but Amitabh Bachchan’s Uunchai co-star Neena Gupta also told him to say how the ticket rates of the film have been reduced from Rs 400 and 300 to only Rs 150. This also came as an amusing moment for the fans. Apart from this, the Masaba Masaba actress also made an interesting revelation wherein she said how Big B didn’t tell anyone that he was unwell while shooting for the film and had also shot a scene with the sun with his vulnerable health. To this, the Sholay actor will be heard saying that he needs to do all these things to keep his job safe.
Talking about the film Uunchai, it celebrates the spirit of friendship, brotherhood, and undying determination. The story revolves around three senior citizen friends who go on a mission to climb Mount Everest to fulfill the wishes of their late friend. The film also stars Danny Denzongpa, Parineeti Chopra, and Sarika in the lead roles.
