Anil Kapoor pens heartfelt note to wife Sunita Kapoor on 40th anniversary, shares unseen pics

Actor Anil Kapoor and his wife Sunita Kapoor are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary on May 19. Marking the happy occasion, Anil penned a heartfelt note for his wife on social media with unseen pictures of the family and called Sunita the love of his life, his best friend and his rock.

Anil Kapoor pens emotional note to Sunita Kapoor

Taking to Instagram, Anil penned an emotional note to his wife Sunita Kapoor along with unseen pictures. He captioned the post, “Forty years ago today, I married the love of my life, my best friend, and my rock. Sunita, our journey began 11 years before that, and every moment since has been nothing short of epic. From our early days of love and laughter to raising our beautiful family, we’ve created countless memories that fill my heart with joy and pride.”

Anil called his marriage a mixture of adventures, challenges and triumphs, woven together with love and mutual respect. The actor also expressed his gratitude for having Sunita by his side, always showing grace, strength and compassion towards him and inspiring him to be a better man.  The actor thanked Sunita for her endless support, wisdom and boundless love.

Unseen pictures of the Kapoor family

The actor also shared unseen photos of the Kapoor family on social media. The first picture is of the couple from years ago, followed by a picture of the two on their wedding day. The third is an unseen picture of his family with his three children and the couple posing with a life-sized Mickey Mouse. The subsequent pictures are portraits of the couple over the years.

After dating each other for 11 years, Anil and Sunita tied the knot in 1984 and welcomed daughters Sonam Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor in 1985 and 1987, respectively, while their son Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor was born in 1990.
