Meanwhile, Anupam Kher has been standing as a strong pillar of strength for the Om Shanti Om actress ever since she was diagnosed with myeloma, a form of cancer earlier last year. Anupam and his son Sikandar Kher had been sharing health updates of the actress-politician on their social media accounts.

    In an earlier interview with Hindustan Times, Kirron Kher had spoken about her cancer diagnosis and treatment. The Devdas actress had said, “It’s not the ideal situation to be in. Par yeh zindagi hai. One learns to deal with it and carry on. There’s no way out except to treat it. Nobody likes going through the treatment or its side effects. Even the doctors don’t know how and why it happened. Medical science doesn’t really have a concrete answer. I would much rather not have it. But it’s something I had to accept.”
