'Bhai cricket bhi khel le' : KL Rahul is surprised by wife Athiya Shetty at the airport but netizens aren't amused

Cricketer KL Rahul received the sweetest surprise from his wife Athiya Shetty at the airport. Athiya had come to pick up her husband and was all smiles seeing him arrive. However, as the video went viral on social media, the comment section of the same unfortunately did not pass the vibe check.

Talking about the same, we can see Rahul walking toward his car wherein he is donning a casual white tee with a checkered red and black jacket along with loose dark blue pants. He furthermore paired up the look with sneakers and a cap. We see the cricketer walking up to his car wherein his wife is sitting inside to surprise him. However, the netizens were not amused with the same and started trolling the cricketer. Many netizens urged KL Rahul to focus on his cricketing career instead. One of the netizens stated, “KL Rahul ko koi dekhne bhi nahi aa raha uske batting ki tarah” while another user said, “Bhai cricket bhi khel le.....reel banane se india nahi jitegi.” Another netizen said, “Part time cricketer full time injured” while a user added, “Kl Rahul ab job apply kar raha hai kya?” Another netizen took a dig at the cricketer’s rather sullen expression and mocked him stating that his is not happy to see his wife. The comment read, “bhai ke chere se lagta hai biwi se pareshan hain.” While another comment stated, “Surprise se zyada toh sad lag raha hai.” One of the comments also stated that the duo are trying to allegedly copy other Bollywood couples like Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh, Katrina Kaif-Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor.

Talking about KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty, the couple tied the knot in January earlier this year. They got married in an intimate ceremony at Suniel Shetty ’s Khandala farmhouse. They soon dropped their dreamy pictures on social media.
