    A day after love birds Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani landed in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan to begin preparations for their wedding, the baraatis began to arrive. Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput reached the venue with their filmmaker friend Karan Johar whereas Kiara’s childhood buddy Isha Ambani and her husband Anand Piramal made a stylish entry with heavy security. While the bride and groom to be have kept their lips sealed so far, Sidharth’s mother shared her excitement about welcoming Kiara into the family yesterday during a chat with the paparazzi. Well, another family member has now opened up about the wedding.

    Sidharth’s grandmother, his doting naani, was greeted by a swarm of shutterbugs at the airport last night when she arrived at Jaisalmer ahead of the wedding. When asked what she would like to say about the wedding and to congratulate the two actors, she sweetly replied, “Bohot khushi hai, bohot bohot badhaayi. Hum unki naani hain, Sidharth Malhotra ki. Toh ashirwad dene hi pohonche hain.” When asked what she thinks of Jaisalmer as the wedding venue, she replied that she has just entered the city. In the comment section below, a fan joked, “Nani khel gai evryone is silent but i think Nani forgot.”

    According to buzz, Sidharth and Kiara hosted their sangeet function last night, where they performed along with their family and friends. Reports also suggest that Kiara’s brother Mishaal Advani, who is a rapper and music producer by profession, sang a song that he specially made for the bride and groom. It was his special surprise for his sister. Today, the madly in love couple will enjoy their haldi and mehendi ceremonies, followed by a cocktail party at night and then tomorrow on 7th February, they will take ‘7 phere’ and tie the nuptial knot. Post this grand wedding, Sidharth and Kiara will be busy with Punjabi and Sindhi post wedding rituals and will later host a grand reception in Mumbai as well as Delhi.
