Deepika Padukone visits Tirupati with her father on his birthday before reuniting with Pathaan co-star Shah Rukh

Deepika Padukone along with her father-former badminton champion Prakash Padukone visited Lord Venkateswara Temple in Tirupati on Friday. They were clicked inside the premises in purple shawls as took blessings on the occasion of latter’s 67th birthday.

The Chennai Express looked beautiful in a white kurta-salwar and a matching mask. Whereas her father was seen in a kurta pyjama. Deepika’s sister Anisha Padukone was also spotted with her in the temple. Earlier, it was reported that the actress will take some time off with her family, after her hectic work schedule.

Earlier, Deepika had visited the Tirupati temple on her first wedding anniversary with her husband Ranveer Singh . She wore a red silk saree whereas Ranveer sported a beige kurta-pyjama. Their respective parents and siblings also accompanied them on their trip to the temple.

Recently, Deepika returned from Cannes where she made India proud as one of the jury member in the prestigious film festival. She also made heads turn with her spectacular fashion statements. The actress will now resume her shooting schedule of her upcoming actioner Pathan alongside Shah Rukh Khan . As before flying to Cannes, she only shot for a portion of the film with the superstar in Spain. The film directed by Siddharth Anand also stars John Abraham.

Besides Pathan, Deepika also has Sidharth Anand’s other action film titled Fighter . The film will mark her first collaboration with Hrithik Roshan . The film is set to release in September next year. The actress will also be seen in the Hindi remake of the Hollywood film The Intern . She will reunite with Amitabh Bachchan after Shoojit Sircar ’s Piku. She will also feature in Nag Ashwin's science-fiction, Project K with Prabhas and Disha Patani in pivotal roles.
