'Deepika Padukone wannabe': Alia Bhatt returns from her Dubai trip in denims and no makeup look, netizens react

Alia Bhatt has often kept her airport look quite chic and comfortable. On Wednesday, the actress aced the denim-on-denim trend as she was spotted exiting the Mumbai airport. She recently travelled to Dubai and after spending a day, she is back to the bay in style. However, a few social media users found her style inspired by actress Deepika Padukone and one of them even called her ‘a wannabe’.

A video shared by a paparazzo’s Instagram account shows Alia wearing a denim jacket over a pair of denim pants. She put on no makeup and her flawless skin caught major attention. She left her straight hair loose and carried two bags in her hands. While her fans gushed over her cuteness, some people dropped harsh comments. While one user wrote, “Deepika Padukone wannabe” A fan defended Alia and said, “Who is Deepika? Aren't there many actresses who are prettier and more talented than her, why does Alia have to be like her ?”

Reacting to the video, one of the fans commented, “She looks worn out but still got flawless skin.” Another added, “My beautiful alooo..... She is looking so pretty without makeup... it's called natural beauty.” One of the netizens trolled saying, “Bechari ki height hi nahi hai isliye andh bhakton ko bhi 30 saal ki aunty baby lagti hai.” Meanwhile, Alia is soon going to make her debut at the prestigious fashion event Met Gala2023 which is to be held on May 1 in New York. She will reportedly be styled in Prabal Gurung’s couture for the event.

On the film front, Alia is awaiting the release of her upcoming family drama, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, directed by Karan Johar. The film stars Ranveer Singh as the male lead and has Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachchan in supporting roles. Besides it, she has her Hollywood debut film, Heart of Stone. She will soon start shooting for Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa alongside Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra.
