Dhamaal 4: Madhuri Dixit, Anil Kapoor to reunite with Ajay Devgn in fourth installment of Indra Kumar's comedy franchise

    After the success of Total Dhamaal, Indra Kumar has started working on the fourth instalment of his comedy franchise. The director has already finalised the script and currently giving the finishing touch to narrate to Ajay Devgn . Amid this, a report has surfaced suggesting that Anil Kapoor and Madhuri would be reprising their role in the upcoming instalment.

    A source close to the development told Etimes that Anil and Madhuri were given a brief idea about the script and both are keen to come on board. For the unversed, the duo has worked in Total Dhamaal, the third instalment of the comedy franchise. The two also collaborated with the director in the 1992 film Beta. However, there is no confirmation about the same as no official announcement has been been made by the makers as yet.

    Talking about the Dhamaal franchise, the first instalment has Sanjay Dutt, Jaaved Jaferi, Arshad Warsi, Aashish Chaudhary and Arshad Warsi in the cast. In the second instalment, Double Dhamaal, the actors reprised their roles with additional two actors- Kangana Ranaut and Mallika Sherawat. The third instalment featured Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit , Johnny Lever, Arshad Warsi, Ritesh Deshmukh, Boman Irani and Jaaved Jaaferi.

    Reportedly, Dhamaal 4 is expected to go on the floor by the end of this year or the beginning of the next soon after the cast is finalised. The movie will mark Ajay and Indra’s fourth collaboration after Ishq, Masti, Total Dhamaal and Thank God. Meanwhile, Anil Kapoor was last seen in The Night Manager co-starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Sobhita Dhulipala. He is all set to feature in Siddharth Anand’s Fighter alongside Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan. He also has Animal co-starring Ranbir Kapoor. Madhuri, on the other hand, was last featured in Maja Ma and Fame Game. Her upcoming projects are kept under wraps.
