Don 3: Ranveer Singh starrer to get THIS actress onboard? Makers tease a special announcement

All eyes are on the special announcement which is all set to be done by the makers of Don 3 today (February 20). Yesterday, director Farhan Akhtar took to his Instagram stories to share how there will be an announcement regarding Don 3. However, if reports are to be believed, the announcement will be regarding the female lead of the movie. If sources are to be believed, that actress is none other than Kiara Advani.

Yes, you heard that right! It is Kiara who has been roped in to star alongside Ranveer in Don 3 according to some reports in Bollywood Hungama. A source close to the development revealed to the publication that Farhan thought that the Satyaprem Ki Katha actress fit the part perfectly. Not only this but she has never been paired opposite Ranveer which makes this a fresh pairing. The source said, “Director Farhan Akhtar felt that Kiara fits the bill perfectly. Moreover, she has never been paired with lead actor Ranveer Singh before. Kiara, too, is excited to be a part of an exciting action franchise. She is looking forward to playing the stylish part and also collaborating with Farhan Akhtar and Ranveer Singh.” It added, “Kiara’s casting in Don 3 will be officially announced by the makers tomorrow.”

Rumours of Kiara being approached by the makers of Don 3 have been floating for quite some time now. But it looks like things have finally materialized and the actress is on board for the ambitions project. Meanwhile, the Guilty actress will also be starring in the movie War 2 alongside Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR. It looks like she is exploring the action genre with full force now.

It was earlier reported that Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya star Kriti Sanon was also being approached for Don 3. Well, now that Kiara is onboard, fans might be waiting for more exciting developments regarding the movie. Farhan announced the ambitious project last year but some sections of the netizens were unimpressed and demanded Shah Rukh Khan to be cast instead in the action flick.
