Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha’s wedding was no less than a fairytale as evident from their dreamy pictures and videos. The bride not only walked but danced down the aisle in an exquisite lehenga with a long veil. The impatient groom asked her to come fast by making a hand gesture. He planted a kiss on her forehead and then their forever began. However, trolls still found a reason to have a field day amid all these rosy moments.

In one of the wedding videos, the newlywed couple could be seen taking blessings from Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. While Raghav touched Arvind and his wife’s feet, Parineeti greeted them with her folded hands. The eagle-eyed troll slammed the actress for not conforming to the Indian culture of touching elders’ feet. “Parineeti Shame on you your husband touching feet and you the arrogance Maharani,” said a troll. Another commented, “Pati pair chhu rhe h or Pari ka attitude.” Check out the video here:

“Sanskar Umar se bade hai...chadda ji ke...aur chaddi ko koi mtlb nhi....chadda ji bhi bechare khaa fass gye,” a user wrote. “Dil jeet lia... Sanskar... 😍.. Par pari.. Ne to kisi ke bhi.. Pair nhi touch kiye,” added another user. However, a netizen came in support of Parineeti and reacted, “Parineeti cannot touch the feets of others because of the heavy dupatta she is wearing on her head, even it was difficult for her to walk.”

Parineeti and Raghav tied the knot at Udaipir’s Leela Palace on September 24 in the presence of her family and close friends. The wedding was also attended by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. Fashion designer Manish Malhotra and Tennis player Sania Mirza were among other guests at the wedding. Parineeti’s cousin Priyanka Chopra, however, skipped all the functions owing to her work commitments. Meanwhile, the newlywed couple will reportedly host two separate receptions, one for politicians in Delhi and the other one for Bollywood celebrities in Mumbai.
