Bollywood beauty Parineeti Chopra is currently busy soaring high! After making her mark in the Hindi film industry as a talented and versatile actress, she has now begun her journey as a musician. She had made her playback singing debut back in 2017 with the song Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahin for Meri Pyaari Bindu. But last month she performed on stage for her first live concert at the Mumbai Festival. Many supported her in this decision but two people who strongly motivated her to pursue her dreams were her politician husband Raghav Chadha and Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh.

In a recent chat with ETimes, when asked about how she’s handling two careers as a newlywed, Parineeti shared, “This pattern should break. This is not how life is. Now that I am married, it doesn't mean that I have to slow down. I wish people would not put everyone in that slot. Different people have different marriages, relationships and life. Some people work even on the day they are getting married. In our case, I am an actor, while he is a politician. We both live in different cities. So, it's a different kind of marriage.”

She explained that their marriage does not affect work and their careers don’t affect their bond with each other. Parineeti went on to add, “Everything has to go hand-in-hand. It is one life which has all these departments in it and all of them are simultaneously running.” Well, on the film front, the actress will next be seen opposite Diljit in Imtiaz Ali's much awaited project Amar Singh Chamkila. Parineeti has sung around 15 songs in this movie, which follows the life story of singer Amar Singh Chamkila. It was during the shoot of this project that Diljit heard Parineeti sing and encouraged her to do live performances.

How excited are you to see Diljit and Pari as Amar Singh Chamkila and Amarjot Kaur in Imtiaz’s film?
