The trailer for Vijay Kumar’s upcoming film, Election, has just dropped, and it's everything you would want to watch this polling season. The interesting new trailer opens with a quote by Abraham Lincoln, “The ballot is stronger than the bullet,” hinting that the film is centred around election polling, with the protagonist playing a candidate selected to contest for elections.

The trailer then showcases a montage of election scenes, and subsequently introduces the main protagonist, Vijay Kumar’s character. He is depicted as the son of a party cadre, who stands for the election. He is happily married to a woman, with a few heartwarming moments of the couple showcased in the trailer. However, things take a turn when he finds himself in direct opposition to the sons of a party leader. Whether the party leader's son or the party cadre's son wins the election forms the rest of the story.

The new trailer promises an intriguing political drama that brews between an underdog and the affluent men. This character played by Vijay Kumar is also quite different from his previous roles in movies, such as Uriyadi and Fight Club, which saw him essay rugged action characters.
