Well, it’s not a hidden fact that Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan is one of his most-awaited films of the next year along with the likes of Dunki and Pathaan. The film also marks Shah Rukh’s first collaboration with Atlee . Well, it seems that the latest development surrounding the movie might prove why it can be called a success even before its release into the theatres.

According to a news report in OTTplay, the post-theatrical satellite and streaming rights have been sold to two big studios for a jaw-dropping mammoth amount. The report further states that the streaming rights of Jawan have been acquired by Zee TV while the streaming rights of the Shah Rukh Khan starrer have gone to Netflix for a humongous amount of Rs 120 crore. Now, this results in the post-theatrical rights of Jawaan including both satellite and streaming being attained in a whooping amount of Rs 250 crore.

The amount has already surpassed the budget of Jawan which suggests that the film has managed to rake in profits for the makers even before its release. The report also observed that the possible collaboration of Shah Rukh Khan with the majority of the talents from the South film industry has furthermore attracted these big studios to acquire the satellite and streaming rights of the movie. Apart from this, Shah Rukh’s menacing and intense first look from the same was enough to raise the anticipation surrounding the film on several levels.

Shah Rukh Khan shared the very first look from Jawan in June this year.
