Ranbir Kapoor's Animal emerges triumphant over Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan, earns THIS much on its 30th day

Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal is still standing strong in the theatres and how! The movie has been helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga of Kabir Singh fame. Despite heavy competition from Dunki and Salaar, the film has been able to sustain itself at the box office. Now, it has also managed to break the record of Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan.

According to a news report in Sacnilk, Animal’s lifetime collections after completing a month at the box office stand at Rs 543.37 crore. This marks the collection of the movie on its 30th day. It has managed to surpass the lifetime collection of Pathaan which had minted Rs 543.05 crore. Animal’s lifetime collections have been garnered through its Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada box office collections. The same goes for SRK’s Pathaan. Now it will be interesting to see for how long Animal manages to stay put in the theatres as the Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer Fighter is also all set to arrive at the box office next month.

Animal might have been going strong at the box office but it has received a lot of polarizing reactions from the masses and the critics. Some fans have appreciated the film for its performances, especially from the likes of Ranbir and Bobby Deol. However, some people have heavily criticized the film for the excessive violence and bloodshed along with some problematic scenes and dialogues. But that did not seem to affect the box office success of the same.

The movie also starred Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Tripti Dimri in pivotal roles. The sequel of the film Animal Park will be released in 2026. It will see Ranbir playing Bobby’s younger brother and we will literally get to see ‘Ranbir Vs Ranbir’ in the same with more violence and gore of course.
