Fardeen Khan and his wife Natasha Madhvani are heading up for a Splitsville. The news of their divorce came as a rude shock to the fans. The former couple tied the knot in 2005. Now, a family friend of the actor has revealed what went wrong between the two.

Talking about the same, a news report in Zoom TV reveals that Fardeen Khan has been separated from his estranged wife Natasha Madhvani who also happens to be the daughter of yesteryear actress Mumtaz for a long time now. A family friend of the No Entry actor revealed that Fardeen and Natasha have been living separately for more than just a year. The friend said that things first went downhill in their marriage after the demise of Fardeen’s father and legendary actor Feroze Khan in April 2009.

The report furthermore stated that Natasha Madhvani was very close to her late father-in-law and even cared for him dearly during his battle with cancer. She was by his side when Feroze Khan was undergoing treatment in America. It was the late actor who had asked Natasha’s father Mayur Madhvani her hand in marriage for his son Fardeen Khan since the two got attracted to each other. The couple soon drifted apart after the demise of Feroze Khan. They also started having disagreements when it came to their children Diani and Azarius’s education. While Natasha wanted them to do their education in Dubai, Fardeen wanted them to do the same in Mumbai.

Their family friend was quoted to reveal, “Distance widened their rift and they found themselves in a loveless marriage. If they are suffering, isn't it better to settle for separation and start life afresh?" However, the friend admitted that the two are in touch on matters related to their kids. The friend said, “Yes, they do. Their talk revolves largely around their kids.” Meanwhile, on the work front, Fardeen Khan will be making a comeback with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi.
