Fighter cast fees revealed: Here’s how much Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and others are charging for the film

The much-anticipated aerial thriller Fighter is all set to hit the theatres on January 25, 2024. The makers have piqued audiences’ interest with the new teaser that gave a sneak peek of Hrithik Roshan as Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania, Deepika Padukone as Squadron Leader Minal Rathore, and Anil as Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh fighting for the country. Besides them, the film also stars Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi in key roles. The film is made on an estimated budget of Rs 250 crore, and the star cast salary has been revealed.

As per reports, Hrithik has charged a whopping Rs 50 crore to play the role of Patty, while Deepika took home a paycheck of Rs 15 crore for her role. Anil Kapoor reportedly received Rs 7 crore for his part. Karan, who plays the role of Squadron Leader Sartaj Gill has received Rs 2 crore for the role. On the other hand, Akshay, who features as Squadron Leader Basheer Khan took Rs 1 crore fees. However, there is no official confirmation of the same from the film’s production team.

It was speculated that Fighter’s runtime is around 3 hours 10 minutes, however, the film’s director Siddharth Anand debunked the rumours. Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), Siddharth wrote, "#Fighter run time rumours. Real run time is under 2 hours 40 minutes." The film marks Siddharth’s third collaboration with Hrithik after Bang Bang(2014) and War(2019). The film also marks Hrithik’s first onscreen collaboration with Deepika. Reportedly, the film serves as the first film in a planned aerial action franchise backed by Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures.

Meanwhile, Hrithik was last seen in Tiger 3 in a special appearance. Besides Fighter, the actor also has another actioner, War 2 in the pipeline. Deepika also has interesting projects including Kalki 2898 - A.D, an upcoming Indian epic mythological-science fiction co-starring Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Prabhas; and Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again.
