'He was my biggest cheerleader' : Kangana Ranaut expresses remorse on veteran actor Satish Kaushik's demise

    Kangana Ranaut mourned the loss of veteran actor Satish Kaushik calling him her biggest cheerleader.

    Satish Kaushak’s demise in the wee hours of the morning today (March 9) came as shocking news to his fans as well as the members of the film fraternity. His best friend and actor Anupam Kher informed about the same on his social media. Now, actress Kangana Ranaut also mourned his loss on her social media account.

    Taking to her Twitter handle, Kangana shared a throwback picture with Satish Kaushik from the National Award ceremony. The Tanu Weds Manu Returns actress can be seen dressed in a traditional get-up while Kaushik can be seen wearing royal purple attire as he greets the actress. She called the late actor her biggest cheerleader in the industry.

    Kangana’s Fashion director Madhur Bhandarkar also poured his condolences on Satish Kaushik. The filmmaker shared a throwback picture with Kaushik and wrote, “I am so shocked to hear the demise of actor-director Satish Kaushik ji, who was always vibrant, energetic and full of life, he will be missed immensely by the film fraternity & millions of admires, My deepest condolences to his family members. #OmShanti. @satishkaushik2.” 

    Nawazuddin Siddiqui also paid his tribute for the actor. His post read, "A wonderful Actor with perfect comic timing, an amazing Director, A regarded alumni from National School Of Drama. Left us too soon #SatishKaushik Ji Lots of Love and Power to the Family Rest In Peace."

    It was Satish Kaushik’s close friend and veteran actor Anupam Kher who had first shared the news of his passing and wrote, ‘I know "death is the ultimate truth of this world!" But I never thought in my dreams that I would write this thing about my best friend #SatishKaushik while alive. Such a sudden full stop on friendship of 45 years!! Life will NEVER be the same without you SATISH! Om Shanti.” On the work front, Satish Kaushik had shot for Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency wherein he will be seen as Jagjivan Ram.-
