'I am eternally grateful for..' : Kangana Ranaut on her film Thalaivii being snubbed at the National Awards

    Despite the expectations of many fans, Kangana Ranaut’s political biographical drama Thalaivii did not win any categories in the 69th National Awards 2023. For the unversed, Kangana is a 4-times National Award winner so this came as a bit of a disappointment to her fans. However, the actress broke her silence on her movie being dissed at the National Awards.

    Talking about the same, Kangana Ranaut shared a note penned by her on Instagram stories. The Tanu Weds Manu Returns actress started by congratulating all the National Award winners this year. Kangana wrote, “Congratulations to all #nationalawards2023. It is such an art carnival that brings all the artists across the country together. It's truly magical to know and to get introduced to so much important work that's happening across all languages.”

    Furthermore, she addressed the fans who were disappointed that her movie Thalaivii did not win anything. Kangana Ranaut further stated, “All of you who are disappointed that my film Thalaivii didn't win any... please know I am eternally grateful for whatever Krishna gave and didn't give me and all of you who really love and appreciate me must appreciate my perspective as well ... Art is subjective and I truly believe that the jury did their best .... I wish everyone the best Hare Krishna.” Take a look at her post.
