Boney Kapoor and Sridevi’s youngest daughter Khushi Kapoor recently entered Bollywood with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies. Though the actress received mixed responses for her debut film, she is being offered several projects. It was earlier reported that the star kid will star in the Hindi remake of the Tamil movie Love Today. She has also been speculated to be part of Aamir Khan’s son Junaid’s untitled film as per reports. Amid all this, there are fresh reports that the newbie has been roped in for Karan Johar’s upcoming romantic comedy-drama alongside Saif Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim.

According to the reports, the untitled film will be a direct-to-digital release and will mark Khushi and Ibrahim’s first onscreen collaboration. “It’s being planned as a direct-to-digital project to be produced by his digital wing, Dharmatics. The film will go on floors next year and will be directed by Shauna Gautam. The makers are in talks with a leading OTT player for streaming rights,” revealed a source to Pinkvilla. The source added, “It’s one of those romantic comedies that Hindi Cinema is known for. However, Karan and co. feel that the palette of narrative fits better for the OTT than the big screen. It’s planned and will be executed as an OTT original.”

Khushi was recently seen essaying the role of Betty Cooper in The Archies, directed by Zoya Akhtar. She made her debut alongside Suhana Khan and Agastya Nanda. The film is an Indian adaptation of popular American comic of the same name. It also stars Mihir Ahuja, Yuvraj Menda, Vedang Raina and Dot. The film was released on Netflix on December 7 and opened to largely negative reviews. On the other hand, Ibrahim is all set to make his debut with Sarzameen under Dharma Productions. The thriller set in Kashmir also stars Kajol and Prithviraj.
