Ira Khan-Nupur Shikhare wedding: Aamir Khan's daughter looks resplendent in white traditional lehenga at Mehendi ceremony

The wedding festivities of Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare have begun in Udaipur in the presence of their family and close friends. After a welcome party, the couple kickstarted their wedding rituals with the Mehendi ceremony at the Taj Aravali Resort & Spa. The first picture of the couple from the ceremony has surfaced and they look beautiful together.

Ira opted for a white traditional lehenga and accessorised it with elaborate jewellery. The picture shows her getting mehendi applied on both her arms, while Nupur hugs her from behind. The groom is seen in a pink shirt layered with a chocolate brown vest, complementing the cool bride. The couple against a beautiful backdrop with a step waterfall and the venue is adorned with beautiful white flowers. Take a look:

Earlier, Ira took to her Instagram stories and gave a glimpse of her makeup session. She was also seen complaining about her logistics team and soying on them while getting ready. The wedding festivities begun with dinner party in which Ira wore a black gown with a thigh-high slit. Nupur wore a black shirt, trousers and waistcoat. Several pictures of them posung with other guests are doing rounds on the internet. Ira also posted an adorable picture with half-brother Azad Rao Khan.

A day ago, Ira gave a details of her wedding festivity which began on January 7 and will end on January 10. The guests were invited to Hi-tea and a welcome dinner was hosted last night. Today, the Mehendi ceremony begun at 11:30 onwards, and Pajama party is scheduled to take place at 10pm tonight. The Sangeet ceremony and main wedding ceremony will take place on January 9 and 10 respectively.

Meanwhile, Ira and Nupur had a registered wedding on January 3 in Mumbai. Now, the couple is celebrating their union in a big fat wedding in Udaipur. They are expected to host reception for Bollywood industry in Mumbai at the NMACC on January 13.
