‘Janhvi is one of a kind’: Varun Dhawan remembers awkward first meeting with Bawaal co-star; reveals she broke a glass

One of the major reasons that any upcoming film creates excitement amongst movie lovers is the star cast. It is a delight when two beloved actors reunite on-screen. But even waiting to watch a fresh jodi is an equal treat sometimes. Like when Kiara Advani and Kartik Aaryan came together for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Well, we were just as excited when it was announced that handsome hunk Varun Dhawan will be romancing gorgeous star kid Janhvi Kapoor in Nitesh Tiwari’s Bawaal. As expected, they won hearts with the trailer and left us wanting more with the romantic tracks which have released so far.

But what was their first impression of each other? Well, Varun has been showering love on his beautiful co-star during their promotional spree. But their first meeting was quite awkward. In a recent chat with Mid Day, Varun revealed, “The first time I met her was at a party, after the film had got confirmed. She was happy to see me and was probably going to hug me. But her joy went a notch above, and she broke the glass in her hand. I was amused by her, and the more I got to know her, I realised that she is one of a kind.”

Varun and Janhvi have already won over netizens with their real life chemistry. Well, early reviews of their much awaited film suggest that they have created the same magic on-screen as well. Janhvi’s actor brother Arjun Kapoor, who is one of Varun’s best friends in the industry, has called Bawaal their ‘career best performances’. He reviewed the romantic drama as a unique yet entertaining film which consists of heart, soul and lots of entertainment.
