Janhvi Kapoor to star in Shahid Kapoor & Kriti Sanon's Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya sequel after special cameo?

The Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon starrer Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya released into the theatres today (February 9). However, apart from the sizzling pair of Shahid and Kriti and a unique plot revolving around a love story between a human and a robot, there is another thing to get excited about the film. Those who have already watched the film, have inevitably seen the interesting cameo of Janhvi Kapoor in the same. This has led to speculations that the actress might be a part of the sequel of the film.

While we cannot divulge the spoilers, we can reveal to you that Janhvi plays Shahid’s colleague in the movie who is also a robotics engineer like him. Well not only this but she also gets a little infatuated with him and seems to engage in some flirtatious banter with him. However, this ignites some emotions in Kriti’s SIFRA who is a humanoid robot. These emotions feel a lot like jealousy. Well, this hints that the Dhadak actress might be an exciting addition to the star cast of the sequel of Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya.

Kriti Sanon on the other hand, looks beautiful and graceful nailing the stoic and mechanical mannerisms of a robot. Her realistic performance manages to blend the thin lines between a human and a robot. The actress particularly hits it out of the park in the climax delivering some of her best scenes from the movie. Dimple Kapadia and Dharmendra prove why they are absolute legends with stellar performances.”

Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya has been helmed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah. The movie marks the first collaboration between Shahid and Kriti. It is expected to open at Rs 6 to 7 crore.
